NEW Ikan bilis or anchovies, a delicacy of Pangkor

Have you ever heard of Ikan Bilis? Ok, you are a Malaysian, you know what I am talking about. For everybody else, ikan bilis is the Malay word for anchovies. And anchovies you do know. You eat it in the pizza, as a small side dish or in the soup.

But did you know where the best anchovies comes from? Nope, not from Italy where they use it in pizzas. Nope, not Taiwan or Thailand. The best, and most natural anchovies comes from Pangkor Island Malaysia.

I know, it's easy to buy anchovies in the supermarket in tin cans. But once you have eaten the real thing, you don't want that anymore. Now, where do you have to look for? Read more at this page.
